Final Thermochromic Oven Mitt

The Thermochromic reaction shown here may seem subtle, but when the heat sensitive ink activates and you witness the magic, it is a truly exciting moment for all to behold. Printed with 31C Black Thermochromic Ink, I have managed to manipulate the ink to change its opacity from 100% to approximately 5%, meaning the text appears both quickly and effectively. While the products themselves await Independent Safety Testing (as they will potentially be in contact with food) they cannot meet the EU safety standards and be available for sale – and as there are no products like this on the market, it’s a just a waiting game. In the mean time, I have created a collection which is not interactive, but still aesthetically beautiful.
